Joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra(NYJO) atfourteen , since leaving college has been a professional musician/composer, has writtenmusic for Television, Radio Big Band, 1988 Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, a Fanfare for Queen Elizabeth 11, to name a few. Worked with various artist including: Johnny Dankworth, Nancy Wilson, Shorty Rogers, Vic Damone, Frankie Vaughan, John Williams, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. T.V and Film Sessions including: The Tube, Scene Today, In Suspicious Circumstances, a part in the film“Dance witha Stranger.” M.D for west end show “The Magic of DavidBerglas”.

Neale started playing at 8 years of age on Flute.Then studied Saxophones at the age of 11, and went on to study Piano at 13. At this time he joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO). In 1975 Neale appeared in the film “Bugsy Malone”. Since leaving school he has been a professional musician, being engaged to play on Cruise Ships, includingthe QE2, Camberra. Shows and Pantomimes,with Marti Caine, Des O’Connor, amongst others. Radio Broadcasts for the BBC,and accompanying Cabaret artistes such as, Bertice Reading, Linda Nolan. Jazz artists include:Alan Barnes, Don Rendell, Roy Williams, Janusz Carmello, Pete Jacobson. Neale is regarded as one of the finest jazz flautists around apart from being a fine pianist.

Recorded and broadcast with own Trio and Quartet, and with Janusz Carmello’s “Tribute to Clifford Brown”.Worked with both American and British Jazz artist’s including: Sonny Stitt, Al Cohn, Joe Newman, Harry ‘Sweets’ Edison, Teddy Edwards, Don Rendell, JimmySkidmore, Don Weller,to name a few, and the late Spike Robinson, with whomhe has made various Recordings. Ted is also a fine accompanist, and is favourite accompanist of the late Maxine Daniels.He has recorded with the Graeme Culham Trio for Maxine’s “That's All” Album, on “Calligraph Records”, featuring Roy Williams. Ted is also a member of the Humphrey Lyttelton Band of which its rhythm section has recently released its own CD.

Roger’s interestinthe double bass began during his teenage years. He is self taught, by listening to all the great bass players, and occasionally with the advice of Tony Hougham, who is leader ofthe bass section at the Royal Opera House. As a professional musician, he has worked with many Jazz lineups, and for many years Roger worked along with Graeme, in the Ray Ward Trio in his home county of
Essex. Over the years he has worked with some of the finestjazz musicians including: Louis Stewart, Art Farmer, Dick Morrissey, Pete King, Valery Ponomarev, Pete Jacobson, and the Graeme Culham Big Band.
